Beautiful weather and time to hit the road!
I've been in Canada for a few days and
returned to one of my favorite places on earth,
Salt Spring Island, B.C.
After seeing this bakery and enjoying some of the
fabulous food on Salt Spring Island,
I am very tempted to start a food blog. Please
indulge me when I tell you that Heather
Campbell "The Bread Lady" and owner of
Salt Spring Island Bread Company is an
artist, as well as a baker. Her generous spirit
and focus on her craft provides sustenance
to many.

bakery in an ideal forest environment.


Here is Heather with the bread I saw her bake
just the day before, at the amazing, not to be
missed, Saturday Market in Ganges.
