This creative process of painting my "Newport 925"
series brings to mind the song from "The King and I",
"Getting to Know You".
With each change and observation about my choices for
design of this subject matter, I continue to learn more
about it.

I notice the background on this one has been simplified in some ways, but then you threw in the orange permit. I really lime the shadow colors being a blend of cool and warm!

I continue to study these paintings and if they tell
me I have more to learn, I will do another.
It has been an enjoyable journey and very educational.
