of the straw bale cabin she built.I enjoyed visiting Kim, one of my artist friends, in Prineville
recently. In addition to painting and working, she built this straw bale cabin and three other buildings on her property.
All of the rock that you see on the cabin is from her property.
This cabin and the other buildings are off the grid. All electricity
is solar powered.
A short walk from Kim's cabin is her "Painting Rock".
Take a look at this view! She is a plein air painter and
often paints the view from this rock.
