Kinetic Sculpture by Pete Beeman
I shared a little bit about Pete Beeman
in yesterday's post and thought you might
enjoy seeing his sculpure from a few different
angles.
Pete Beeman (seated) is answering questions
about his creation as the man in the brown
shirt moves the red canopy by turning a
wheel attached to the post.
The woman in the white sweater takes her
turn at cranking the wheel. It is designed to
move the gears above.
Even though this is a huge massive sculpture,
I watched as this small child moved it. Pete's background
includes design, mechanical and structural engineering.
