Creating What I Want To See With Photoshop - Step 4

In Step 3, below, the darkest trees on both sides
of the image, are a strong value, so they "move
forward" or attract attention. Lightening them
"moves them back" because their value is closer to the
background values. Now it is easer for my eye
to focus on the glass. .
I used : Enhance / Adjust Lighting / Brightness
- Contrast. Using the slider to lighten the entire
painting just a little.
