Good Morning Sunshine I

Good Morning Sunshine I
Acrylic on hardboard
5 ¾” x 5 ¾”

After a focused painting session, it takes a day or two to
separate myself from the painting and see it with a fresh
eye. Thanks to my art friends in our wonderful
"critique" group, that meets once a month to offer
constructive comments for each member's work.

They saw this painting "In Progress" (smaller image).
See post on April 15th.
Their helpful comment, "Make the orange peel a darker value",
was just the help I needed.
With that adjustment, I now feel the painting is complete.

wow! Big difference Linda :) Thanks for posting the update!
Ruth,
Your suggestion of using Trans. Pyrrole Orange was a big help. I haven't used it combined with yellows and reds in a thin wash, before this. It was just what was needed.
Thanks for your help.
