Steve said, when he was helping me take reference
photos for the painting above. "Will you paint all of
them?" he asked. The sunlight shining through
the glass created cast shadows on the tees. That seemed more
important than the dimples, at the time. When I selected this
composition and started painting the dimples, I was relieved that
